Naomi Raube, also known as Wantok Art, was born to parents from the United States in Oregon and moved to Papua New Guinea (PNG) when she was about a year old. They were back and forth between both, but mostly she grew up in PNG, in Ukarumpa. She feels she is highly influenced by both places, especially in the art she makes. Now, she's been mostly in Pennsylvania for the last 4 or 5 years, going to school there.
